Responsibilities

Utilizes a variety of coordinating, coaching, facilitating, consensus-building and planning techniques which enable the team to deliver improved quality, quantity and timely services work products to their customers
Serves on panels, committees and working groups related to the various hiring flexibilities and special programs. Reviews and provides comments on proposed revisions to hiring flexibilities laws, rules, regulations and policies
Maintains rapport with the Executive Resources Director, CHCO and officials at the Office of Personnel Management and other Federal agencies in order to ascertain program needs and requirements
Establishes proactive partnerships with colleges, universities, student organizations, professional organizations, and special emphasis groups to promote employment opportunities with EEOC
Develop and maintain relationships with EEOC's Outreach and Education Coordinators, academic institutions and career centers to foster relationships and educate students on employment with the federal government
In consultation with the Executive Resources Director, supports the Agency’s Executive Schedule, Senior Executive Service, Senior Level, Schedule C, Schedule A, attorney hires, and other key staff across the agency

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation
May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
To Qualify for the GS-14: You must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service
Specialized experience is defined as having expert experience in: Managing the Agency's Executive Schedule, Senior Executive Service, Senior Level, Schedule C, Schedule A, and other key staff across the agency
Establishing and implementing procedures to govern the operation of Executive Resources Board (ERB) and the Performance Review Board (PRB)
Leading the development and implementation of outreach and special programs that support an agency's policy objectives
Serving as a senior policy advisor by delivering authoritative briefings and public presentations to executives, leadership, external stakeholders, and applicants
Analyzing and interpreting laws, regulations, and agency guidance to inform outreach strategy; stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F
One (1) year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level
Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements (e.g., time-in-grade and qualification requirements) within 30 days of the closing date specified in the vacancy announcement
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social)
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience
