Specify electrical components such as servo drives, motors, and contactors to meet mechanical specifications and performance requirements
Perform servo tuning and motion control algorithm optimization
Generate AutoCAD electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layouts
Write ladder logic for proprietary and industry controls
Generate engineering procedures and documentation for our servo systems
Perform startup/troubleshooting duties in development and production environments
Requires strong time management skills and ability to work on an interdisciplinary basis to meet project deadlines
Qualification
Required
BS Degree - Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering, or Motion Control Engineering
2+ years experience in a design, build, test engineering role
Specify electrical components such as servo drives, motors, and contactors to meet mechanical specifications and performance requirements
Perform servo tuning and motion control algorithm optimization
Generate AutoCAD electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layouts
Write ladder logic for proprietary and industry controls
Generate engineering procedures and documentation for our servo systems
Perform startup/troubleshooting duties in development and production environments
Requires strong time management skills and ability to work on an interdisciplinary basis to meet project deadlines
Preferred
Experience with service drivers/motors, motion control, AC & DC electro-mechanical design a plus
