Responsibilities
Responds to inquiries from customers, brokers, agents, and government agencies through oral and written communications
Assists with and processes financial transactions and contract-related requests in accordance with policy provisions and regulatory guidelines
Interprets and explains contract provisions for current and historical products to internal and external stakeholders
Reviews and resolves routine processing errors, escalating complex or exceptional cases as needed
Qualification
Required
Candidates MUST read, write and speak in Spanish and English
High school diploma
Fluency in Spanish and English (read, write and speak)
General office practices, customer service, and office equipment
Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and management
Ability to identify and evaluate problems and analyze customer inquiries and determine the appropriate action
Credit Check: Due to the fiduciary accountabilities within this job, a valid credit check and/or background check will be required as part of the selection process
Preferred
College Degree
Three years work experience with two years product-related customer service work experience
Information systems and insurance/financial services industry practices (i.e. Life Insurance)
