Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand customer needs and technical requirements across the full BlueAlly portfolio, with particular depth in DevOps and multi-cloud contexts
Design and propose comprehensive solutions that incorporate DevOps methodologies, multi-cloud architectures, and the broader portfolio (compute/storage, networking, AI, data, cybersecurity, managed/professional services) to meet customer objectives
Spearhead complex deals involving DevOps transformations, multi-cloud migrations, or strategic initiatives requiring coordination across multiple BlueAlly practice areas; delegate to or team with other Solutions Architects when appropriate
Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept showcasing DevOps tools, multi-cloud strategies, and integrated portfolio solutions
Craft messaging for C-suite, IT, and line-of-business stakeholders emphasizing the strategic business value of BlueAlly’s full portfolio, with special focus on DevOps-driven efficiency and multi-cloud flexibility
Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in DevOps, containerization, orchestration, multi-cloud technologies, and emerging areas across the BlueAlly portfolio
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect or similar role, with hands-on expertise in DevOps and multi-cloud environments
Demonstrated ability to architect solutions across multiple domains (compute/storage, networking, AI, data, cybersecurity, managed/professional services)
Experience in presales or similar roles working with clients on DevOps implementations, multi-cloud strategies, and broader portfolio engagements
Proficiency with major DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible) and multi-cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel to customer and company locations as needed
Preferred
CI/CD pipeline design and automation strategies
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management
Containerization and orchestration with tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Hybrid and multi-cloud architecture design and integration
Cloud-agnostic solutions for workload portability and optimization
Cost management, governance, and security across multiple cloud providers
Ability to design end-to-end solutions combining Data Center Compute/Storage, Networking, AI, Data, Cybersecurity, and Managed/Professional Services
Experience aligning DevOps and multi-cloud strategies with broader modernization, security, and operational outcomes
Proven track record of positioning managed and professional services to complement technical solutions
Propose AI-driven automation for DevOps processes and multi-cloud operations
Map business needs to AI-enhanced monitoring, deployment, and optimization patterns
Tie DevOps and multi-cloud initiatives to measurable KPIs
End-to-end security assessments and DevSecOps pipeline integration
Secure access, identity management, and zero-trust principles across multi-cloud environments
Compliance-driven architectures for regulated industries
