Executive Director - Assisted Living

Northbridge Companies is seeking an Executive Director for The Landing at Cape Elizabeth. In this role, you will provide visionary leadership, supervise staff, and ensure community operations exceed regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of integrity and compassion.

Responsibilities

Represents the company and the community in a professional, positive, and personable manner
Maintains the records of the community in compliance with regulatory requirements including that of confidentiality
Interviews, selects, and hires staff and assures adherence to the company’s hiring policies
Assist in the sales process from inquiry through move-in, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new residents
Plans, organizes, and implements the policies and procedures of the company as it relates to a specific community
Walks and inspects the community on a daily basis
Assists all other departments in the proper execution of their respective responsibilities
Prepares the annual budget and monthly reporting of budget to actual to be submitted

Qualification

Maine Administrator's licenseHealthcare Administrator backgroundGeriatric field experienceBachelor’s degree in HealthCompassionRespectEffective communicationIntegrity

Required

Current Maine Administrator's license required
3-5 years experience working in the geriatric field
Bachelor's degree in Health or Human Services or equivalent, Master's preferred
Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without assistance. May be required to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public
Individual who aligns with our values of integrity, compassion and respect
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Criminal Background Screening is required

Preferred

Candidates with Healthcare Administrator background, Assisted Living preferred will be considered
Master's preferred
