Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver products to support our client’s projects such as Drainage Reports, Studies, Floodplain Mapping and Design
With limited supervision, this position needs to be able to provide a quality product conforming to the standards of the industry
It’s preferred for candidates to be able to revise FEMA floodplains and know the different processes for doing so
Candidates need to be proficient at hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and be able to communicate with junior staff to delegate tasks when needed
It’s preferable that the right candidate be able to prepare 2-Dimensional models using FLO-2D and HEC-RAS 2D
Candidates should be adept at land development and roadway drainage design support
Qualification
Required
Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or related field
4-years of practical experience in the Hydrology and Hydraulics discipline of Civil Engineering
Able to be primary author for reports, studies and technical memorandums
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Arizona P.E. preferred or ability to get P.E. within 6 months
Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification is a plus
AutoCAD/Civil 3D and ArcGIS experience preferred
