Responsibilities

Some of the areas the Senior Quality Representative will be responsible for are Quality Assurance, Healthcare Accreditation (if required), Policy and Procedure Development, Risk Management, Training and Education, Data Analysis and Reporting, Investigations and Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement
The Representative will be supported by the corporate Compliance team based out of the Acuity Cape Canaveral Headquarters
Demonstrated knowledge of current Joint Commission and NCQA PCMH standards, performance improvement and survey process
Conduct audits and reviews of medical records to identify areas for improvement in patient care
Analyze data and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement plans
Educate staff on best practices and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements and serve as a liaison between patients, nurses, and other departments regarding quality of care issues
Participate in quality improvement committees and projects
Stay up-to-date on current healthcare regulations and quality improvement methodologies
Be available for on-call duties as required, responding promptly to emergencies and providing care as necessary

Required

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a clinical nurse setting
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or related field
Must hold and maintain a current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Strong understanding of quality improvement principles and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
All healthcare providers must have current clinical experience in direct patient care and have worked a minimum of 6 of the last 12 months in the desired career field
Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver's License
Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration
Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English
Requires a favorably adjudicated CNACI investigation conducted by the Department of Defense
Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality - CPHQ) preferred
