Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to buyer including, but not limited to, vendor solicitations, Retek updates, price changes, and maintenance of open-to-buy
Supports buyers in development, execution and evaluation of stock assortments and sources of supply for programs
Shadows higher-level buyers and participates in online and store merchandising activities
Attends professional development training to gain expertise and achieve contracting officer designation
Runs reports and prepares presentations as required
May participate in tabloid and promotion planning process
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

MS OFFICE - INTERMEDIATE - Required
Three years of experience in buying, retail merchandising, planning, allocation, and/or inventory management required
Or Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in buying, retail merchandising, planning, allocation, and/or inventory management required

BUSINESS - Preferred
