Responsibilities
Lead, train, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, initiatives, and procedures
Initiate, lead, and implement continuous improvement activities to enhance IT processes, services, and system performance
Manage and oversee the IT work order ticketing system to ensure timely and effective issue resolution
Partner with management and staff to provide technical support and drive continuous improvement of IT solutions
Establish and maintain positive, productive relationships with operational partners and organizational leaders
Communicate IT updates, insights, and recommendations to management and stakeholders
Travel domestically (less than 10%) of time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technical training and experience
3+ years related IT experience
Working knowledge of modern programming or data languages such as SQL, C++, or XML
Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) and obtain a passport
Due to federal contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
Experience working with stakeholders to communicate issues while balancing business expectations
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience in leadership development and team building
Must have the ability to lift and/or carry 45 lbs
Ability to work for extended periods at computer workstation/keyboard
Ability to type accurately and efficiently
The position will require walking, standing, squatting, crouching, stooping, lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing, sitting, repetitive motion and kneeling
