Responsibilities
Develop clean, well-documented, and high-performance code using Python and/or Scala
Build data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines
Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
Support analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning use cases
Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for the Nexus platform
Ensure seamless data flow across Clinical, Logistics, and Manufacturing systems
Architect the integration layer between Salesforce (Patient Journey) and shop-floor systems
Design secure API architectures using Mutual TLS (mTLS) and OAuth 2.0
Ensure secure, compliant system-to-system communication
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and challenges
Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions
Implement and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards
Ensure compliance with GxP processes and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in SQL and Python
Experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, AWS (S3, related services)
Data modeling, data pipeline architecture, and large-scale data systems
API design and integration experience
Life Sciences domain (mandatory)
Cell and Gene Therapy experience (mandatory)
Strong understanding of GxP processes and compliance
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to mentor and guide data engineering teams
9+ years of relevant experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer
