Merlin Entertainments operates the LEGOLAND® Discovery Center San Antonio, and they are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This role involves keeping the attraction safe, clean, and fully operational through daily maintenance and safety checks, as well as supporting new installations and special projects.

Responsibilities

Keep our attraction safe, clean, and fully operational for guests & staff
Perform daily maintenance & safety checks (lights, paint, repairs, fire & H&S checks)
Maintain rides, equipment, and building systems through preventative maintenance
Support new installations and special projects
Keep backstage & public areas tidy and organized
Work closely with the team to ensure 95%+ guest satisfaction
Deliver friendly, professional service—even under pressure

Qualification

Maintenance tools knowledgePreventative maintenanceElectrical skillsPlumbing skillsCarpentry skillsGuest-first attitudeCool under pressure

Required

Hands-on knowledge of maintenance tools & basic repair work
Flexible schedule required (Days, Evenings, Weekends & Holidays)
Ability to be on your feet and moving throughout the attraction

Preferred

Familiarity with preventative maintenance (bonus points!)
Skills in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry are a plus—but not required
Cool head in emergencies & a guest-first attitude
