The Material Mover is responsible for the safe and accurate movement of spools and carriages between extrusion, work-in-process, and conversion areas, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Move spools and carriages from extrusion into the WIP area and to conversion machines, including required scanning activities

Ensure all spool and material movements are accurately scanned and recorded in the IBS system

Maintain organization of the WIP area, ensuring proper first-in, first-out (FIFO) material flow

Transport empty spools from the conversion area back to extrusion in a timely manner

Reconcile physical material movements with IBS system transactions and report discrepancies as needed

Comply with all OSHA, MSDS, and C-TPAT regulations, as well as the Minigrip safety program and policies

Maintain a safe, professional, and clean work environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and a 5S organizational program

Communicate effectively with extrusion, conversion, and inventory personnel to support production flow

Perform other duties as requested by management
