Junior Financial Analyst
Confidential company is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to assist with financial analysis and reporting. The role involves supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing revenue and marketing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L summaries, variance analysis, and trend reporting
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by tracking actual performance versus plan
Assist with cash flow analysis and short-term forecasting, including monitoring inflows, outflows, and working capital
Help reconcile financial data across accounting, e-commerce, and operational systems
Support analysis of revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin across products and sales channels
Assist in evaluating the profitability of paid advertising and affiliate channels, including ROAS, CAC, and net margin impact
Help track marketing spend vs revenue performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
Support reporting related to promotions, pricing changes, and new product launches
Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support leadership and cross-functional decision-making
Assist with scenario modeling related to marketing spend, pricing, and growth initiatives
Support data analysis for operational, marketing, and strategic projects as needed
Pull, clean, and organize data from multiple systems (e.g., e-commerce platforms, advertising platforms, accounting software)
Maintain accuracy and consistency across spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards
Assist in documenting and improving financial reporting processes to support scalability and efficiency
Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to support business initiatives
Help translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
Respond to internal reporting and data requests in a timely and organized manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in a financial analyst, accounting, or analytical role
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, lookups, pivot tables)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or digital marketing environments
Familiarity with paid advertising and performance marketing metrics (ROAS, CAC, contribution margin)
Experience with tools such as Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, QuickBooks, or similar systems
Exposure to BI or reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
