Mount Sinai Health System is one of the largest academic medical systems in the New York metro area, and they are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to lead a research project in immunology. The role involves conducting in vivo studies and generating novel insights into leukocyte biology and cancer immunology to develop new immunotherapies.

Responsibilities
The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for leading the research project as well as collaborating with colleagues
Specific technical duties include, but are not restricted to: tissue culture, leukocyte isolation from human blood samples, flow cytometry, qPCR, maintaining of mouse colony, mouse genotyping, in vivo experimentation, ELISA, and statistical analyses
Furthermore, the postdoctoral fellow will be required to present laboratory meetings and institution-level seminars and write research articles and fellowships
Finally, the postdoctoral fellow will help maintain the laboratory operations through equipment maintenance, re-suppling, and inventorying whenever needed
Qualification
Required
PhD, MD, or MD/PhD
Leading the research project as well as collaborating with colleagues
Tissue culture
Leukocyte isolation from human blood samples
Flow cytometry
qPCR
Maintaining of mouse colony
Mouse genotyping
In vivo experimentation
ELISA
Statistical analyses
Presenting laboratory meetings and institution-level seminars
