Responsibilities
Leads multi-disciplinary team or software, hardware, and systems engineers, to develop and deliver solutions that meet quality, cost and schedule objectives
Supports Program Management in new business opportunities to include: capture, SOW shaping, technology evaluations, authoring white papers, trade studies, process improvement, and bidding & proposals
Manage the baselining of new software efforts to include labor & non-labor planning & earned value management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience
Experience leading software teams with at least 10+ software engineers
Experience w/ Atlassian Tool Suite; Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello, Opsgenie
Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access
Preferred
Current Special Access Program access
Java Software Development
Functional Management Experience
Experience serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
Current CAM certification
Experience serving as a proposal estimator
Significant experience writing technical documents
