Business and Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

Take guidance from program leadership and provide support across high-priority initiatives as needed
Lead initiative discussions, drive alignment across stakeholders, and ensure shared understanding of objectives and deliverables
Own initiative lifecycles from framing to execution: define scope, success criteria, risks, dependencies, and KPIs in collaboration with DRIs
Develop and maintain core project artifacts, including business requirements, project plans, process documentation, RAID logs, stakeholder maps, and execution health reports
Contribute to Redaptive’s enterprise reporting and initiative governance processes through consistent tracking and documentation
Monitor initiative progress and outcomes, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and transformation goals
Effectively translate complex business concepts into clear, concise, and accessible language for technical audiences
Developing, maintaining and organizing documentation—BRDs, process flows maps, gap analysis
Employ strong communication skills to elicit and document detailed operational requirements, ensuring clarity and shared understanding
Act as a liaison, bridging the gap between operational needs and technical capabilities
Clearly articulate operational value and impact for proposed technical solutions
Cultivate and nurture deep, trusting relationships with Enterprise leadership and teams, acting as a proactive and empathetic business & technology partner
Prioritize active listening and open communication to fully understand operational strategies, processes, and challenges
Serve as a trusted advisor, fostering a collaborative environment where operational stakeholders feel heard and valued
Facilitate productive dialogue and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
Work closely with Technical Program Managers and Solution Architects, and Developers to ensure consistent communication and shared understanding
Help new OET hires get up to speed fast and integrate into our business & systems
Champion the adoption of technological solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and safety
Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making within the Enterprise
Be a champion for the operational user, and advocate for the simplification and optimization of critical systems
Provide feedback to the technical teams based on operational user feedback and performance data
Communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and technology performance metrics related to operational efficiency and reliability in a clear and compelling manner
Prepare and present regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress and addressing operational concerns
Ensure that reporting is accessible and easily understood by the Business units

Required

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Confident facilitator and communicator—able to lead cross-functional workshops and alignment sessions
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, guide, and partner across all levels of the organization
Understanding of business analysis techniques and methodologies, including process mapping, requirements elicitation, and frameworks such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation)
Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and Atlassian products
Extensive hands-on experience working across a range of enterprise systems and tools, with the ability to quickly understand system architecture, data structures, workflows, and user interactions. Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements across platforms such as CRM, ERP, workflow automation, and analytics tools
Experience working with US-based companies and cross-cultural teams, especially in a US-India structure
Expectation on working hours will be 3 pm – 11 pm IST to align with USA mornings
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Operations Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a technology business partner or similar role, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication
Prior experience in transformation, enterprise change, or strategic delivery functions is strongly preferred
Strong technical skills and proficiency in operational systems and tools, such as ERP systems, CRM software, workflow automation tools, and data analytics platforms
Experience with SDLC, system implementation and integration, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment

Preferred

Prior experience in transformation, enterprise change, or strategic delivery functions is strongly preferred
Master's in Business Administration or Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, Agile/Scrum (or equivalent) are a plus
CCBA, CBAP Certifications are preferred
Industry experience in energy and sustainability is a big plus
Experience with energy systems (e.g., HVAC, Lighting, solar, electric vehicle charging, etc) is preferred
Experience within startups and fast paced cultures
