The IT Assistant will help manage IT inventory, assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, and handle inquiries from users while ensuring smooth operations within the IT department.

Responsibilities
Help manage the inventory of IT equipment
Assist in the setup and maintenance of hardware and software systems
Conduct system upgrades and ensure software updates are implemented as needed
Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees
Monitor MSP (Managed Service Provider) ticket queue and troubleshooting to users
Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Create user guides and tutorials as required
Keep accurate documentation of IT systems and support activities
Provide training to employees on new technologies and software tools
Set up and manage employee workspaces, ensuring all necessary resources are available
Any other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
Capacity to perform well under pressure
Experience with computer hardware
Skilled in multitasking
Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Proficient in O365 applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams
Ability to work in an environment with changing requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential duties of the position
Preferred
Eager to learn and grow continuously
Experience installing and removing operating systems
Experience training others
