Administrative Coordinator – Math, Stats, & Data Sciences Group

They are seeking a highly organized Administrative Coordinator to support the Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Sciences Group, providing critical administrative support, managing schedules, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities
Coordinate complex schedules, arrange domestic and international travel, and organize meetings and events with precision
Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain the highest standards of professionalism
Serve as a primary point of contact for staff and leadership, fostering strong relationships across teams and external partners
Prepare and edit documents, process forms, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and implement creative solutions for efficiency
Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to a culture of collaboration and shared knowledge
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant experience in an administrative environment -OR-
AA degree or higher and 4 years of relevant experience in an administrative environment
Experience in planning meetings and coordinating travel
U.S. Citizenship
Background Investigation: Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter in accordance with 10 CFR 710, Appendix B
Drug Testing: All Security Clearance positions are Testing Designated Positions, which means that the applicant selected for hire is subject to pre-employment drug testing, and post-employment random drug testing
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related productivity tools
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Experience managing office operations and delegating workflow effectively
Proven ability to plan meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate complex travel itineraries
Demonstrated adaptability and problem-solving in fast paced office environments
Experience in coordinating and managing events, including planning, scheduling, vendor negotiation, and ensuring seamless execution
