Responsibilities

Provide proofreading and light editing for internal and external marketing communications in compliance with corporate standards, brand guidelines, and established policies and procedures
Edit and proofread highly technical and regulated healthcare content, including Product and campaign messaging; Trademarks, product names, and legal designations; References, footnotes, citations, and claims support; Usage of mandated language, disclaimers, and annotations
Review content for accuracy, consistency, and alignment across integrated campaigns and multi-channel executions (digital, print, presentations, and interactive assets)
Partner with creative teams across multiple business units and workstreams to ensure materials meet communication objectives and quality standards. Collaborate with external stakeholders as needed

Required

Exceptional command of the English language and strong working knowledge of style guides
Proven ability to edit and proofread for: Grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax; Brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency; Technical accuracy, fact checking, and numerical data; Trademarks, references, citations, and regulated terminology; Graphics, tables, charts, photos, interactivity, layout, and content transfer
Experience working within a corporate branding and regulated communications framework, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences environments
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast paced, agency setting
Strong collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with designers, writers, and project managers to support internal client's business and marketing goals
Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills, with confidence to present and articulate feedback clearly and diplomatically
5+ years of professional proofreading or copyediting experience, preferably within a corporate, agency, or regulated industry environment
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and project management systems a plus
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
