Production Technician (2nd shift)

Swift Textile Metalizing (STM) is seeking a Production Technician 1 - 2nd shift who is responsible for the production of quality products. This role involves checking and testing processed products for defects and ensuring adherence to production protocols in a collaborative environment focused on craftsmanship and innovation.

Responsibilities

Work to a high quality standard keeping safety as a priority
Interpret and follow material specifications for precise mixing of various chemicals
Stores inspected batches in proper inventory order
Cleans and maintains the various equipment
Wrapping and package of finished product if needed
Operation of various machinery and manual processes as required
Adherence to a closely timed and measured production protocol
All other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma, GED equivalent or trade school graduate
0-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic Math skills
Possesses good mechanical aptitude
Good computer skills
Attention to detail and quality focus
Work is performed in both lab and manufacturing environments with some exposure to specialty chemicals
Moderate physical activity required, including walking, standing, stretching, reaching and some lifting to a maximum of 50 pounds
Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a 'U.S. person' as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
