Responsibilities

Produce photorealistic assets and environments for our projects
Work closely with the environment art design team and other artists to bring concepts to life
Plan, estimate and prioritize time frames for the completion of tasks while tracking progress
Help fix bugs, including performance and budget issues
Implement and incorporate feedback from leads and colleagues into your work
Work with the team to achieve the desired level of quality and technical accuracy
Participate in brainstorming and concept development sessions, contributing fresh ideas and innovative approaches

Required

An excellent portfolio of work that exemplifies the creation of high-quality 3D art pieces
Experience creating environment, character and/or prop art for a video game project or another relevant project (school projects are acceptable for experience)
Knowledge of game environment, prop art, and character development processes
Strong interpersonal communication skills
A high degree of self-motivation and initiative-taking
Experience with a game engine, Maya, 3Ds Max, or Blender, Z Brush, and/or Adobe Substance Suite
Candidates must be current students at an Ontario college or University, physically located in Ontario, and legally eligible to work in Ontario

Preferred

Technical knowledge working within Unreal Engine 4/5
Experience developing video games
Experience modeling for Nanite and layered material texturing workflows
