They are seeking a Process Engineer to support CNC lathe operations by developing CNC programs, creating setup documentation, and collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for CNC lathes (G‑code and/or CAM software)
Create detailed setup sheets, tooling lists, and process documentation for production
Plan and manage work centers using SAP‑based planning tools
Create and update machine schedules to meet production deadlines and maximize machine utilization
Collaborate with engineers to review part drawings, models, and manufacturability concerns
Work directly with machinists and production workers to support setups, troubleshoot issues, and validate new processes
Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles to ensure accurate machining
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce cycle time, improve quality, and enhance workflow efficiency
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with CNC machining processes, especially CNC lathes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T
Exposure to CNC programming (G‑code or CAM software)
Understanding of CNC lathe setup practices, tooling, and workholding
Preferred
Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems for planning and scheduling
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Solidworks, Mastercam, Fusion 360, or Esprit
