Director of Lateral Recruiting & Integration
Calibrate is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm to identify a Director of Lateral Recruiting & Integration, a strategic leadership role responsible for driving firmwide growth through the recruitment and integration of lateral shareholders and of-counsel attorneys. This role is ideal for a seasoned recruiting professional who thrives at the intersection of relationship building, strategic planning, and operational execution.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with firm leadership to drive lateral hiring strategy, oversee financial assessments, support group acquisitions and office openings, and manage search firm relationships
Lead sourcing efforts for shareholder and of counsel candidates, screen resumes and recruiter submissions, and manage candidates through every stage of the process as their primary point of contact
Oversee interview coordination, maintain accurate tracking of all lateral hiring data, prepare shareholder proposal materials, and develop interview strategies, evaluation tools, and recruit collateral
Lead lateral integration, collaborate across departments, engage with new laterals, and report hiring and integration outcomes to leadership
Foster cross department collaboration, stay current on industry best practices, and ensure compliance with recruiting regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree is required
A minimum of 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
At least 5 years of experience in career development and/or marketing
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-step projects and workflows
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, research, project management, and time management capabilities
Ability to manage sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and discretion
Comfortable navigating high-pressure environments and frequent interruptions
