Vice President of Quality
CDC Global Solutions is a US based CDMO focused on drug product manufacturing. The Vice President of Quality will oversee the Quality Management System, provide direct oversight for QA/QC operations, and maintain a culture focused on compliance and operational excellence across multiple US sites.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute an enterprise Quality strategy supporting clinical-to-commercial client programs
Partner with executive leadership to align Quality priorities with growth strategy, service model, and operations
Foster a culture of quality, transparency, data integrity, and continuous improvement
Design, implement, and continuously improve a scalable QMS for multi-product, multi-client operations
Ensure robust GMP systems including deviations, CAPAs, change control, investigations, validation, document control, and data integrity
Lead regulatory inspections, client audits, due diligence, and all related responses and submissions
Serve as executive Quality liaison for strategic clients, ensuring timely, high-quality documentation and regulatory support
Provide oversight of QA/QC functions across testing, microbiology, stability, manufacturing, packaging, and warehousing
Lead quality oversight for tech transfers, validation/qualification activities, and supplier/partner management
Ensure all quality agreements are maintained and audits are completed per schedule
Drive risk management (ICH Q9), quality KPIs, compliance, and operational efficiency
Use metrics and quality KPIs to drive compliance, performance improvements and operational efficiency
Build and manage Quality organisation growth, including staffing, budgets, training, and multi-site scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry or pharmacy
15+ years of Quality leadership experience in a CDMO drug product environment
Solid understanding of semi solids & liquids
Demonstrated success leading regulatory inspections and client audits
Experience managing multi-product, multi-client operations across clinical and commercial stages
Deep knowledge of global GMP regulations, ICH guidelines, and expectations for CDMO partners
Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to manage complex stakeholders
Expertise in QMS systems, digital quality tools, and data integrity
Proven track record in building teams, scaling quality functions, and enabling high-growth operations
