Responsibilities
Build data products that support everything from core reporting to advanced analytics and AI
Deliver practical BI and analytics today while helping us move toward predictive models and AI-driven insights
Collaborate with actuaries, underwriters, and product leaders to identify high-impact opportunities
Develop and deploy statistical models, ML, and emerging AI use cases
Help define lightweight standards and best practices as we grow
Be hands-on — this is a builder role, not a research lab
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or applied statistics, with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering)
Comfortable working across the spectrum: SQL + dashboards → models + AI
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, Skoda, and modern analytics tools
Thrives in early-stage or low-maturity data environments
Curious, pragmatic, and business-oriented
Preferred
Insurance experience is a plus, but strong problem-solving matters more
