Traffic Engineer

Responsibilities

Perform traffic impact analyses, operational studies, and safety evaluations
Develop traffic models, forecasts, and supporting documentation
Assist with agency coordination and technical reviews
Support senior engineers and planners on transportation projects
Ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements

Qualification

Civil EngineeringEITPE licenseTraffic engineering experienceTraffic analysis softwarePublic-sector projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license
3+ years of traffic engineering experience

Preferred

Experience with traffic analysis software
Exposure to DOT or public-sector transportation projects
