Acquisition Program Logistician, Senior

Responsibilities
Assist, prepare, develop, and deliver compliant documents in support of a variety of Logistics/Product Support activities required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of all systems, (covered or non-covered) subsystems, and components, including all functions related to system readiness
Apply knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive logistics support in the design, development, production, operation, and sustainment of armament systems
Plan, develop, and execute product support strategies which span the acquisition life cycle from requirements analysis through disposal to ensure weapons system readiness
Provide experienced logistics and technical resources to ensure effective, efficient, and affordable product support
Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time
Consider all Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements (Product Support Management, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), Technical Data, Support Equipment, Training/Training Support, Manpower/Personnel, Facilities/Infrastructure, and IT Systems)
The IPS elements and interrelationship with the other logistics providers (Air Force Sustainment Center, Defense Logistics Agency, Contractor, etc.), should be considered during the development, implementation, and subsequent revalidation of the product support strategy to optimize supportability, suitability, reliability, availability, maintainability, affordability, and mission capability
Perform duties IAW AFI 23-101 including, but not limited to maintaining required training, managing assets under their control, performing inventory inspection, submitting allowance change requests, validating authorizations, reporting excess authorizations, ensuring items are on-hand and serviceability/condition is properly recorded, identifying critical requirements through functional area managers, and conducting annual floor-to-book and book-to-floor inventory of assigned equipment account
Provide logistics input on RFPs, SOWs, PWSs, and CDRLs. The Contractor shall provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics (including but not limited to supply, reliability, maintainability, and reliability) and provide them to key logistics reviews
Work independently and as part of a collaborative project team and apply knowledge of DoD integrated product support element structure
Advice and assistance with Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA), Sustainment Reviews, Logistics Health Assessments, and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes
Assist with development of and perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the product support required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program
Assist with identification of requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and with correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place
Provide knowledge and experience in performing cost estimating activities in support of all program phases including, but not limited to most probable cost estimates, cost analyses concurrent to the acquisition process, economic analyses, and probabilistic cost, schedule, technical, and programmatic risk assessments
Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time
Integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a product support strategy
