Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for analytics and reporting
Translate business needs into functional specifications and data models
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
Create and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and data transformations using Power Query
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security (including Row-Level Security)
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Willingness, Adaptability to Support and integrate with existing business tools and platforms, including: EZLynx (Agency Management System), Monday.com (CRM), QCommission (Agency Commission Solution), Portal and Community Platforms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
2+ years of experience in business analysis and BI development
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling concepts
Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Familiarity with insurance industry processes (a plus, but not required)
Experience with EZLynx, Monday.com, QCommission, or similar platforms
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools and technologies
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of data governance and performance optimization in BI solutions
Microsoft Certification (PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst) is a plus
