Growth Manager - SEO & AEO
Passes is a rapidly growing tech platform that helps creators connect with their communities and pursue entrepreneurial dreams. The Growth Manager: SEO & AEO will own the organic growth strategy for Passes, focusing on SEO and AEO to drive visibility and creator acquisition. This role requires a hands-on approach to build and execute SEO programs while collaborating with various teams to enhance brand visibility and fan discovery.

Responsibilities
Own SEO and AEO as a growth channel end-to-end, including strategy, execution, and performance
Develop and execute a search strategy that ensures Passes surfaces prominently in Google search results, AI-powered search and chat interfaces, and LLM-driven discovery experiences
Continuously identify where creators are searching, asking questions, and researching tools, and ensure Passes appears at those moments
Build SEO programs that drive high-quality creator acquisition rather than vanity traffic
Own keyword strategy, site taxonomy, and content architecture aligned to creator intent
Lead execution across editorial and evergreen content, programmatic and product-led SEO initiatives, Reddit and community-driven discovery, and earned visibility and citations
Measure impact in terms of creators acquired, leads generated, and downstream business results
After core SEO foundations are established, expand focus to fan discovery
Increase visibility of Passes creator pages when fans search for their favorite creators
Partner with product and engineering to improve page structure, schema, internal linking, and crawlability
Help creators earn more by driving more fans to their Passes profiles
Partner closely with engineering on technical SEO, performance, and indexing
Work with content, brand, and growth teams to prioritize and execute SEO initiatives
Translate business goals into clear SEO roadmaps and execution plans
Determine when agencies or contractors are helpful and when work should be done in-house
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in SEO, growth, or organic acquisition roles
Proven experience building SEO programs at early-stage or 0–1 companies
Demonstrated ability to drive meaningful business outcomes such as revenue, leads, or customer acquisition
Strong technical SEO fundamentals and experience partnering with engineering teams
Deep understanding of search intent, content strategy, and ranking systems
Working knowledge of AEO, AI-driven discovery, and how LLMs surface content
Highly execution-oriented with a strong ownership mindset
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-moving startup environments
Preferred
Experience in the creator economy, marketplaces, or SaaS
Experience with programmatic SEO or large-scale page generation
Experience driving discovery through Reddit or community platforms
Experience optimizing content for LLM retrieval, schema for AI search, or emerging AEO patterns
