Account Manager, Stop Loss - Eastern US - Remote

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary service contact for assigned accounts, delivering proactive and responsive account management through scheduled calls, emails, conference calls, and webinars
Manage day-to-day service needs, including monitoring claim reporting requirements, premium remittances, and ensuring accurate and timely uploads into the Employer Excess Loss platform
Respond to client and broker inquiries with accuracy and professionalism, anticipating potential issues and addressing concerns to ensure positive outcomes
Lead and coordinate the renewal process in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers, Underwriting, and broker partners, with a focus on retention and long-term client satisfaction
Guide new clients through onboarding and account installation from point of sale through contract delivery, including orientation and demonstrations of the Group Online (GO) portal and other value-added programs
Partner closely with the RFP Analyst team to ensure a smooth, consistent experience during the quoting process for internal and external stakeholders
Act as a resource and mentor to RFP Analysts by sharing broker knowledge, account insights, and best practices for building strong client relationships
Collaborate with internal teams on special projects and service-related initiatives, including process improvements and post-implementation reviews
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
3-5 years' experience in group insurance account management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated digital literacy and attention to detail
Preferred
Stop Loss experience strongly preferred
Professional certifications or designations appropriate and relevant for this role preferred
