Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for processing correspondence for the department and to schedule meetings for the physicians and other administrative staff
The Administrative Assistant establishes a cooperative working relationship with staff, physicians and administration to facilitate timely and high quality completion of work
Responsibilities may also include greeting, registering and scheduling patients in the computer system as well as assisting the surgical coordinator with the scheduling of surgical patients when needed

Required

High School Diploma or GED
Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience as an administrative assistant or comparable qualifications
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public
Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees
Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds
