Responsibilities
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
Track progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, data analysts, business intelligence, and product teams
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency
Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Resolve project issues and conflicts as they arise, escalating when necessary
Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are adhered to
Oversee testing, validation, and sign-off processes for data products and solutions
Maintain clear documentation of project plans, decisions, risks, and lessons learned
Deliver regular status reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Data engineer/Developer with Hadoop, Hive/SQL etc and became project manager /Delivery manager with strong tech in Data area
Experience in projects like Data warehouse or lake implementations
Experience in BI and reporting platform rollouts
Experience in migration of legacy data systems to the cloud
Experience in data governance framework deployment
Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g., SQL, data warehouses, cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP)
More than 10+ years of experience and extended experience in running projects end to end
