Group Manager | Municipal & Water Resources Engineering
Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) is an employee-owned, nationally recognized consulting engineering firm. They are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven leader for the Group Manager position, responsible for project management, client relations, and cultivating a coaching culture among team members.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Coaching: Inspire and coach group members to enhance our employee-owner culture and drive engagement in their professional development
Project Management: Ensure timely and superior project delivery while collaborating across service groups
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and satisfaction
Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, prioritize workloads, and ensure fiscal responsibility
Collaboration: Work closely with Operations and Service AVPs to address staffing, resource allocation, and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
7+ years of experience in civil, water resources, municipal engineering, site design and construction including site layout and design, grading, utility design, and storm water management
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required
Full knowledge of ordinance and plan review, municipal representation, DEP and PENNDOT permitting, transportation grant applications, project presentations, specification writing and meeting facilitation
Experienced with client relations, business development, marketing, proposal preparation, project budgeting and public presentations also required
Is a client-focused leader and team player possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills
Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc
Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
Valid US Driver's License is required
