Responsibilities
Lead and support upgrades to filling and packaging lines, including automation enhancements
Assist with modifications and optimization of existing manufacturing lines
Develop detailed line layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Analyze equipment and line capacities to improve throughput and efficiency
Create and author User Requirement Specifications (URS) in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Partner closely with Validation teams to support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities
Own and execute equipment Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities
Design and develop custom fixturing and tooling to support manufacturing and automation needs
Support or lead automation projects from concept through implementation
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and external vendors to ensure project success
Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Strong background in automated manufacturing within the life sciences, biopharma, or IVD manufacturing environment
Experience supporting high-speed fill-finish and packaging operations
Experience leading equipment upgrades
Experience managing automation projects from concept through execution
Ability to support formulation, filling, finishing, and packaging operations across a wide range of batch sizes and container formats in a regulated manufacturing environment
Ability to lead and support upgrades to filling and packaging lines, including automation enhancements
Ability to assist with modifications and optimization of existing manufacturing lines
Ability to develop detailed line layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Ability to analyze equipment and line capacities to improve throughput and efficiency
Ability to create and author User Requirement Specifications (URS) in collaboration with cross-functional teams
