Quality Programs Administrative Support Assistant - Statewide

They are seeking a Quality Programs Administrative Support Assistant to provide independent office support for the Clinical Operations (Nursing) statewide team, involving complex clerical functions and data management.

Responsibilities

Carries out assigned responsibilities independently for the Clinical Operations (Nursing) statewide team
Ability to enter data into the Mortality Review system
Email correspondence with service providers for findings from the Mortality Review process
Enter, track, and resolve plans of action in the Event Management & Tracking (EMT) system and the Integrated Quality Functions Database for the Mortality Review process
Assist with monitoring the team's shared mailboxes (HRST mailbox, med aide)
Assist with processing Do Not Resuscitate, Alternative to Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and hospice orders
Types, redacts, and edits a variety of material and review Word and PDF documents for accuracy and completeness
Composes routine correspondence, proofreads and/or finalizes letters, memorandums, reports, or other documents for approval
Assist with accessing data from Tableau and the HRST systems for the Clinical Operations (Nursing) Leadership for quality monitoring
Schedule rooms for scheduled meetings when meetings are in person
Schedule meetings on Microsoft Teams for the nursing team's virtual, statewide meetings
Attend meetings and transcribe minutes for the nursing team
Department performance expectations have been outline in the revised 2018 Employee Handbook
Good organization, analytical, and decision making skills, ability to work with a variety of providers and co-workers and build relationships with them, knowledge of DD/DMH vision, guidelines, Department Operating Regulations, Code of State Regulations
Enter, update, and/or retrieve information from Microsoft Office Suite Programs. Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and Access databases
Comprehensive knowledge of office practices and procedures, grammar, composition, spelling, and math
Ability to type accurately, apply and interpret agency policies and procedures. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to prepare and maintain complex records and reports. Develop and maintain filing systems both hard copy and excel trackers
Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness
Ability to scan in documents and save to electronic files. Ability to draft or respond to encrypted emails. Communicate in writing or verbally with individuals, Providers, co-workers, and/or supervisors utilizing agency forms, computer programs and email as required
Attend and pass annual refresher classes provided through MO Learning
Follow CSR's, Departmental Operating Regulations, and Division Guidelines
Reads and follow directions
Possess adequate vision and hearing for the position
Able to perform physical requirements including, but not limited to: frequent standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, or crouching; regular walking, talking, hearing, reaching with hands and arms (including above head); occasional climbing of stairs or balancing
Lift at least 20 lbs
May be required to travel to/from DMH facilities. Required during work week and may include numerous locations
Attends work according to facility policies in order to ensure adequate staff coverage

Required

1-3 years of relevant experience
