Responsibilities

Program & Integrated Planning: Own the integrated program plan and cutover timeline, aligning release windows, SAP go-lives, SIT/UAT cycles, environment freezes, and hypercare across multiple vendors and platforms. Working with business partners to ensure a single, trusted timeline so business teams are not reconciling conflicting dates across partners (e.g., IBM, Graphite, Vertex, Allocadia, Workday)
Cross-Vendor & Partner Coordination: Drive day-to-day coordination across system integrators and SaaS vendors, proactively resolving issues related to payment methods, bank keys, tax codes, regions, cost centers, and master data. In addition to acting as the primary execution lead so the business is not forced into constant go-between or escalation roles
Governance, RAID, and Decision Management: Run a disciplined RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) process with a single source of truth (JIRA or equivalent) in alignment with PMO centralization to ensure critical decisions (e.g., payment method strategy, delivery address handling, company code/plant rules, system interaction models) are formally documented and not re-litigated later
Testing, Cutover, and Release Discipline Define and enforce SIT/UAT governance, including ownership of test scripts, test data, defect triage, retesting, and go/no-go criteria. Working alongside vendors to validate complete fixes and regression testing before business retesting begins. Drive governance for cutover planning and execution, including runbooks, sequencing, and escalation during go-live
Scope, Priority, and Delivery Management: Protect business priorities by clearly distinguishing must-have for go-live capabilities from post-go-live enhancements. Demonstrate the ability to push back on mid-stream scope expansion and make trade-offs explicit to leadership
Data Quality & Readiness: Coordinate data remediation and readiness workstreams (supplier cleansing, tax IDs, bank formats, region mapping, cost center roll-ups, supplier uploads) and ensure the business validates business rules, not raw files or reconciliations
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Readiness: Own communication cadences, including leadership updates, decision summaries, weekly change highlights, and aligned tooling (Slack, Zoom, JIRA). Including driving stakeholder readiness through focus groups, office hours, training, and updated materials for buyers, approvers, and requesters. Which will also require a clear partnership with change management teams to clearly communicate impacts (e.g., differences from legacy systems, cutover behavior, supplier dependencies)
Escalation & Leadership: Own escalation paths to vendor leadership and internal executives when delivery, quality, or timelines are at risk. Ensure timely delivery and relevant steering-committee materials and recommendations grounded in facts and trade-offs
