Responsibilities
Design and develop new neural architectures and training algorithms, with a focus on sequence models and RNN-style systems
Run large-scale simulations using PyTorch / JAX / TensorFlow to test ideas quickly and rigorously
Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to map algorithms into circuits and networks
Review and apply emerging research from ML, systems, and computational neuroscience
Communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Mentor and help grow a high-caliber research team
Qualification
Required
Strong background in AI/ML research, algorithms, or architecture
Experience with large-scale simulation and experimentation workflows
Proficiency with PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks
Deep foundations in linear algebra, probability, optimization, and dynamical systems
Track record of impactful research or engineering contributions
Preferred
Computational or systems neuroscience background
Hardware-aware algorithm co-design experience
Work with analog, in-memory, or nontraditional compute platforms
Leadership or mentorship experience
