Perform purchasing and contracting activities for appropriate quality of products and services
Qualification
Required
Requires an Associate's degree in business or related area or equivalent experience to be able to perform the job
For Food & Nutrition department Procurement Agent, must have ServSafe Certification or be able to obtain within first 60 days and renew every 3 years
Demonstrates facilitation skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to be detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task
Must have good computer skills including Microsoft Office Word and Basic Excel
Must have good organizational skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Prefer a Bachelor's degree
Purchasing experience preferred
General purchasing experience should include supplier relations, pricing analysis, and product sourcing
