InternPlatform Aerospace is a company focused on innovative developments in the UAV industry, and they are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to their projects. The intern will be responsible for the development, testing, and documentation of software and firmware for flight systems.

Responsibilities
Develop software/firmware for payloads, hands on algorithm implementation on actual hardware
Conduct bench and airplane testing during development and software releases
Assists the engineering department with analysis, tests, software development, integration, and quality assurance of systems
Perform proper work documentation, test plans, and results
Obtain experience using git and Atlassian toolchain
Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and/or B.A/B.S. Electrical Engineering, Aero, Mechanical Engineering. Other similar degrees will be considered upon satisfactory skills in software development and programming skills
Knowledge and experience of at least one coding language (C#, C/C++, Python, etc.)
Must have willingness to learn
Ability to obtain a security Clearance
Preferred
Programming experience with C/C++, and/or Python
Previous experience on embedded systems. (Personal or Robotics clubs)
Knowledge of serial communication protocols
Understanding of TCP/IP Networking protocols
Ability to read electrical schematics and block diagrams
Organized and detail oriented
