Responsibilities
Lead project development efforts across priority state markets, overseeing all stages of development from site identification through permitting and NTP
Direct and manage site selection activities, including coordination with land agents, interconnection screening, and due diligence
Oversee the full permitting and entitlement process to ensure timely and compliant project advancement
Drive business development initiatives in both existing and emerging markets, identifying opportunities that align with strategic growth goals
Communicate project status, operational rationale, and expected financial outcomes to internal leadership stakeholders
Build strong internal and external relationships that support market expansion and long-term project success
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in project development, project management, or strategic development roles
Robust network and strong relationship base within the solar industry
Deep understanding of electricity markets, utility tariffs, interconnection processes, regulatory policies, and key industry trends
Proven ability to lead initiatives independently, anticipate project needs, and operate effectively without close supervision
Strong organizational, communication, and cross‑functional leadership skills
Preferred
5+ years of experience in solar or renewable energy strongly preferred
