Protouch Staffing is seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer (PE) to support residential land development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently taking projects from concept through approval, preparing site plans, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and approve residential civil engineering site plans
Develop grading and drainage plans and reports in compliance with local and state regulations
Serve as Engineer of Record and stamp completed engineering work
Maintain responsible charge over assigned projects from design through completion
Coordinate work between engineers, drafters, and support staff as needed
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Ensure compliance with applicable municipal, state, and regulatory standards
Coordinate with clients, permitting agencies, and internal stakeholders
Manage schedules and support on-time project delivery

Qualification

Professional Engineer (PE) licenseResidential site planningAutoCAD Civil 3DGIS toolsHydrologic/hydraulic softwareTechnical writingVerbal communicationAttention to detail

Required

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona and Utah (in good standing)
Extensive experience preparing residential site plans, including grading and drainage plans and drainage reports
Demonstrated ability to take responsible charge and serve as Engineer of Record
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including the ability to import, configure, and manage all required settings, templates, and customizations independently
Experience utilizing GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS) and hydrologic/hydraulic software such as HEC and SWMM
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong technical writing skills for reports, proposals, and final project documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
