Responsibilities
AR collection experience required which includes patient, insurance and direct bill follow-up
Assist with direct bill invoicing
Work with Client, Client Services, Sales Managers and Information Technology teams to resolve invoicing issues
Audit the invoicing process for accuracy, notify appropriate dept. of discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding issues until corrections are complete
Work directly with clients to resolve invoice discrepancies and/or errors and address their questions and concerns regarding the process
Initiate adjustments as necessary which may include issuing credit notes, invoice corrections and/or issuing client refunds
Reconciliation of accounts between 2 billing systems, Sage and Horizon
Verify active and/or termed insurance coverage
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Communicate with Clients and Sales teams effectively by emailing, faxing and calling
Must adhere to Remote Team Member goals per the identified guidelines
Participate in process improvements, including process definition, measurement analysis, and implementation of controls
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill

Qualification
Required

High School diploma or GED required
A minimum of three (3) years of Healthcare Accounts Receivable experience required
Must be able to multitask and be highly organized
Preferred
Knowledge of insurance including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Third Party Payers strongly preferred
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Access and Access data base programs
