ICS: AFHE Networked Control Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Successfully provide phone support to field technicians to resolve issues remotely
Travel state-side and internationally up to 75% in support of training, preventative & corrective maintenance
Troubleshoot server stack hardware errors, including hard drive failures, Recover and manage Veeder-Root failures
Monitor system performance, data integrity and communication health to identify and resolve issues
Conduct backup operations to the extent of being able to fully restore the system on loss of data
Document all steps and procedures used to resolve any issues
Conduct operator training on system usage as needed
Report status updates to Operations Managers
Attend and contribute to program tier meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of Veeam and other historian software
Broad knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and Veeder Root systems
Familiar with ring-server setups
6+ years of experience with complex software systems, to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support
Working knowledge of server rack with RAID array architecture, of industrial control software (specifically Wonderware in ArchestrA System Platform), SCADA system configuration, database management and HMI setup using thick clients)
Experience with control system networking architecture to support a SCADA system and HMIs within a secure air-gapped environment
Have or ability to pass / obtain NACLC security background check, security clearance, government CAC
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) effectively for daily administrative tasks and project support
Proficiency in time management, including managing correspondence and priority scheduling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
BSE or related Software Engineering degree from an accredited university, or commensurate experience
Prefer certified for Windows 2012 or newer
Prefer background experience with Dells or Stratus servers
5+ years of experience in support of Automated Fuel Handling or Water / Waste-Water equipment with in an air gap environment
