InternPrecision Drilling is launching their 2026 Internship Program, aimed at providing real-world experience to current post-secondary students in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business. The internship focuses on supporting the Asset Integrity and QMS team, involving data analysis and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Analysis and reconciliation of Master Data including equipment records, maintenance plans, measuring points/ documents, task lists to ensure accurate data for Asset Lifecycle costing and Asset Performance management
Exception and compliance reporting on rig equipment documentation, preventive maintenance and corrective work, consumption of materials
Cleansing and reconciliation of data for decommissioned and disposed equipment
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for asset integrity and preventive maintenance programs to ensure that the internal processes within the organization meet the needs of the business
Qualification
Required
Current post-secondary student working towards a degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
Applicants must be available for a non-negotiable start date of Monday, May 18, 2026
Applicants must be 18 years or older
Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Houston area, as Precision does not provide internship housing
By May 4, 2026, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute
Must be pursuing or just completed a 4-year degree program
Ability to analyze large amounts of data and perform master data cleansing
Ability to analyze, interpret and demonstrate attention to detail when reviewing data and look for areas of improvement
Quickly learn and understand all aspects of a system and its sub-systems
Positive attitude to cope with challenges, show initiative, interact positively and work effectively with others
Ability to work effectively without much guidance – a self-starter
Excellent MS Office Suite software knowledge - especially Microsoft Excel for the following functionality: V lookups, Conditional (IF) function, conditional formatting, drop downs, groupings, etc., Pivot Tables/ Pivot charts
Excellent research and analysis skills
Preferred
Knowledge of SharePoint and SAP Plant Maintenance is a plus
