Responsibilities
Implement the sourcing process for assigned areas; interaction with assigned operating departments, legal experts, and ISC personnel; external interaction with the supplier community and industry analysts
Analyzes responses to simple bid requests including the ability to distill commercial differences and bring forward succinct recommendations for assistance in selecting the appropriate supplier for contract award
Conducts simple negotiations
Participate in sourcing project teams
Recommend and communicate sourcing strategy and progress to management and ISC management
Maintain relationships with departments and suppliers; conduct industry analysis and evaluate supplier performance
Provide market data to support supplier selection, qualification and ongoing performance management
Reduce the total cost of ownership
Participate in sourcing data analysis, forecasting
Develop new sources of supply and monitor ongoing supplier performance. Helps manage external spending
Qualification
Required
1+ years of supply chain/procurement experience
Experience managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Undergraduate degree with a preference in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related fields
