Responsibilities
Proofread: Proof *** marketing communications documents. Make sure all communications are free of typos and grammatical errors and follow *** style guide for trademark and reference style recommendations
Team Involvement: Responsible for being an active and supportive team member. Consistently attends team meetings as a positive and active contributor. Supports the needs of the entire team and the individual team members. Shares information that is necessary for others to succeed on the team. Shows personal respect and courtesy for others
Time Management: Responsible for chargeback goals equal to 85% of total yearly working hours. Responsible as a team member for the overall profitability of the team, including mistakes, rework, or other errors that are charged back to the department and affect the bottom line. Team members are responsible to make proper use of vacation, sick time, work absences, and overtime within the department and *** guidelines
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be local to work on site at MDT Mounds View Offices 3-4 days per week
Minimum 7-year degree in communications
3 to 4 years experience proofreading or editing
Strong client relations
Excellent planning, prioritization, and coordination skills
Well-organized, capable of meeting deadlines
Capable of problem solving and working under pressure
Excellent customer service skills
Able to work well in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively and educate others
Demonstrates initiative and teamwork
Is resourceful and responsive
Responds well to input from team members
Preferred
Medtech experience a plus
Knowledge of *** and its products
In-house graphics industry experience helpful
