Responsibilities
Provide senior technical leadership in the architecture, design, and delivery of AI-driven game technologies, from early research through production integration
Partner with game, engine, and creative leadership to define and execute a multi-title AI technology roadmap, balancing innovation with production realities
Lead exploration of AI applications for games, including (but not limited to) NPC behavior, player modeling, procedural systems, generative content, and intelligent tooling
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of experimentation, technical excellence, and collaboration
Qualification
Required
Proven technical leadership with the ability to architect systems and execution plans for complex, multi-team technology initiatives
Deep understanding of the game development lifecycle, including current production challenges and opportunities for AI-driven innovation
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain advanced AI and systems concepts to non-technical partners
Experience guiding R&D efforts while maintaining a clear path to production-ready solutions
Shipped multiple titles using Unreal Engine in a senior or lead technical role
Several years of experience building, leading, and mentoring engineering teams
Hands-on experience developing new game technologies, including AI systems, gameplay frameworks, or developer tools
Preferred
Background in applied AI/ML for games or interactive systems is strongly preferred
