Responsibilities
Provide engineering support on various Hunter Controller projects at different stages of the new-product-development cycle, as well as sustaining support on mature product lines
Contribute to the mechanical design of enclosures used for electronics packaging
Work closely with Electrical Engineering to define mechanical constraints for new PCB layouts
Participate in team design reviews and collaborate to develop solutions to current problem states
Participate in the first article sample qualification process to validate designs and manufacturing processes
Gain experience working with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and production teams
Utilize 3D CAD to produce designs and participate in hands-on problem solving to analyze manufacturing challenges
Utilize engineering documentation control best practices to execute engineering change orders, releasing their changes to production parts
Qualification
Required
Driven college students, or recent college graduates, with a major or degree in Mechanical Engineering
Determined go-getters with excellent problem-solving skills who embrace challenges
Organized individuals that are eager to learn and enjoy hands-on activities and projects
Knowledge of Engineering, CAD, Design, Testing / Analysis
Selected candidates must be available to work on-site and full-time between June and August
