Responsibilities
Conduct monthly financial statement reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare and complete monthly general ledger reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis
Maintain organized and well-documented workpapers supporting all reconciliations
Identify discrepancies and work cross-functionally to resolve issues promptly
Support annual audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation as needed
Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function
Qualification
Required
1-3+ years of accounting experience with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Intermediate Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Preferred
Experience in property management or real estate
Understanding of CAM (common area maintenance) charges
Experience transitioning from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online
Experience with tax preparation support and year-end filings
Experience working with trusts or multi-entity structuring
