Responsibilities
Design the strategy, development, and maintenance of a scalable healthcare data platform using Snowflake, DBT, and other cloud solutions, to deliver high-impact data solutions that generate actionable business and clinical insights
Influence data infrastructure strategy by understanding business goals, work with management, product owners, and stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and success criteria
Design systems to orchestrate robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) sourced via API FHIR, HL7 from CMS, HIEs, EHRs, payers, labs, etc
Configure, optimize, and maintain systems that support ETL/ELT and Data Warehouse development and update processes
Architect the solution to develop and manage the CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake, DBT, and other tools used to support Data Warehouse and pipeline development
Establish robust frameworks and mindset around dev/ops, code standardization and documentation, deployment, testing/alerting, as well as adherence to industry regulations for security/privacy
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience designing, architecting, and implementing data solutions
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience using Snowflake, SQL, Python, DBT
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PHI handling)
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and prior exposure to a high-growth or startup healthcare environment
Works collaboratively in a fast-paced, unstructured environment, managing competing deadlines, and adapts to evolving responsibilities
Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
Preferred
Experience with healthcare data systems preferred (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EHRs, claims, risk adjustment) and common EHR and medical claim / administrative workflows
